We do safe work
Our business requires the highest levels of safety and environmental protection, and anything less is unacceptable. Safe working is, and will remain, our top priority.
UKAEA has a safety-focused culture, an integrated approach to safety, health and environmental management, and an excellent performance record. However, we know we can still do better. We strive towards a goal of no harm to people, property and the environment from our operations, and we have strong mechanisms to learn and share experience across the company.
Our approach is set out in detail in the UKAEA safety, health and environment policy, issued in May 2007.
